MacCoy Consulting, LLC is a fully licensed and insured consulting firm based out of the Greater Seattle area. We provide professional consultation and clinical insight from a biopsychosocial and trauma informed perspective to guide both administrative and clinical behavioral health programs. We partner with behavioral health agencies and private practices to provide exceptional, evidenced-based practices for our community members experiencing behavioral health issues.

Who We Are

Marie C. MacCoy LICSW, SUDP CMHS/MHP

Marie MacCoy is a dual licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Substance Use Disorder Professional. She is also a Child Mental Health Specialist and Mental Health Professional and has worked in the behavioral health field for over 15 years. She has extensive experience in clinical supervision, administration, and organizational leadership.

She obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University and her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Gonzaga University. In addition, Marie received an Executive Business Certificate from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business.

In general, Marie approaches issues with a solution-focused and strengths-based approach. The evidenced-based practices and approaches she gravitates towards are Trauma Informed Care, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Multisystemic Therapy and Family Systems Approach.

What We Do

We are a full range consulting company that provides a variety of outcome-oriented services. These services include, but are not limited to:

Behavioral Health Program Assessment and Evaluation - This analysis can be implemented in any level of care (residential, outpatient, etc.) and a thorough report with enhancement, revision and/or amendment suggestions.

Strategic Program and Organizational Restructuring to Increase Efficiency, and Contract Fidelity - We’ll create a strategic plan that supports your vision and builds a thriving and sustainable program.

Creation or Revision of Clinical Documents - We can develop or update clinical forms, such as assessments, treatment planning and clinical curriculum.

Virtual and In-Person Training - We provide training for executive and clinical teams on a variety of subjects, including risk management, DEI, crisis management, clinical supervision, leading staff resiliency.

Management Team Evaluation and Training - We are experienced in evaluating group dynamics and team effectiveness. We will identify performance issues that limit productivity and growth. If desired, we can lead a SWOT meeting with a management team and provide suggestions to strengthen your team by encouraging emotional intelligence, creative engagement, resilience and trust.

Critical Incident Debriefing/ Workplace Trauma Assistance - Short term contract work for behavioral health agency crisis debriefing and processing. Addressing workplace trauma to minimize organizational and patient- services disruption.

Interim Executive or Program Management - Provide agency relief with our interim management contract so critical behavioral health/social services can continue with proper oversight while permanent management can be retained and onboarded.

Clinical Supervision for Masters-level Associate Therapists or Interns - We can provide postgraduate supervision hours for Associate level Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists in accordance with Washington State’s WAC and RCW postgraduate supervision requirements. We also provide contracted supervision with MSW programs and/or agencies providing internships or practicums to MSW students.

MacCoy Consulting contracts with several professionals with various expertise, depending on the individual needs of the clients.
